Omani–Turkish relations and the recent visit
The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Turkey share long-standing ties based on mutual respect and common interests. In recent years, these relations have witnessed a remarkable transformation, culminating in the official visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to Ankara on 28 November 2024.
The visit resulted in the signing of several agreements and MoUs in investment, healthcare, technology, culture, and SME support.
It reinforced the commitment to economic diversification and the opening of new horizons for strategic cooperation in line with Oman Vision 2040.
